As the countdown continues to the end of the year, and with four school days left to go until our students begin their summer holidays, it is important to reflect on all that has been achieved, amidst the ‘hustle and bustle’ of this busy season. 2015 has been marked, like all other years, with joys and challenges, tragedy and elation, highs and lows. Amidst it all, we have continued to be blessed with a community of staff, parents and students whose overarching aim is to work together to ensure that the provision of a quality, Christian education remains central to all that we do. Charles Spurgeon, the nineteenth century British preacher, wrote, “If you would sum up the whole character of Christ in reference to ourselves, it might be gathered into this one sentence, He was moved with compassion.’’ As a Christian community, Grace Primary is committed to both demonstrating compassion and encouraging our students to develop an attitude of compassion to all people, regardless of who they are and where they come from.
