Tennis Hot Shots lesson in class At Grace Primary School we offer specialist Physical Education lessons for Prep through to Year 6. During Physical Education lessons students are introduced to a range of individual and team sports that are appropriate for their age. This involves the development of the knowledge, skills, understanding and motivation required for children to seek health and physical competence through involvement in activity.

Junior School

Our Junior school program focuses on basic physical skills such as jumping, running, throwing, catching, balance and coordination. All Prep students participate in a Perceptual Motor Program throughout the year. Prep – Year 2 students build on these skills in a Sport It! Program which uses modified games to practice the techniques taught. Other programs the students are involved in include Jump Rope for Heart, modified ten pin bowling, dance, tennis hot shots and introductory athletics. We also offer learn to swim lessons for the Prep - Year 2 students.

Senior School

Our senior school program develops our students’ skills for use within a variety of team and individual sports, such as basketball, netball, futsal, badminton and pateeka, as well as dance, cross country running and athletics. Students benefit from specialist clinics in the games of cricket, AFL, oz tag, tennis, rugby and touch football. Year 3-6 students participate in the Royal Lifesaving Society's Swim and Survive Program.
