BIG WIN FOR OUR JAPANESE STUDENTS

14-Mar-2018

Last year our Year 5 & 6 students entered their Koinobori hand artwork in the Japan Foundation’s 'Art Speaks Japanese Comes Alive' student art contest.

We are excited to share that our ‘Hands of Carp’ bright, vibrant piece won FIRST place in the primary school display category.

Well done to all students for the time and effort they put into designing and creating the koinobori to celebrate Kodomo no Hi (Children’s Day) in Japan... and a BIG thank you to our Japanese Teachers last year Omori Sensei and Glover Sensei for making this all happen!
