INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC @ GLPS - TRIAL DAY FOR YR 3

16-Oct-2017

Students in Year 3 at Grace Primary recently attended a musical performance at Grace Lutheran College. At this performance, the students were able to see and hear different instruments from the Band and String families and learn a bit more about the instruments individually, and how they fit together in an ensemble. A number of lucky students also had the opportunity to try an instrument and have their very first public performance.

The Grace Academy is currently organising next year’s intake of young musicians from Years 4 – 6 in 2018, and are offering free, no obligation trial lessons later this term to assist families in making the choice of which instrument to learn. Lessons at Grace Primary are available on string instruments (violin, viola, cello and double bass) and band instruments (flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, french horn, trombone, euphonium, tuba, percussion, bass guitar). Piano lessons are also available for students from all year levels.

To sign up for a trial lesson on a string or band instrument, head to https://www.graceacademy.com.au/primary-trial-lesson. Please don’t hesitate to contact the Grace Academy if you have any questions.
