No school is better than its staff. At Grace, we go to great lengths to select staff members who are willing to 'walk the extra mile' for the benefit of our children. Our staff are committed to supporting the Christian ethos of the school and contributing to its effective operation. All teaching staff must be registered with the Queensland College of Teachers as well as being competent educators who are appropriately qualified to teach in their area of responsibility.

The school employs non-teaching staff as teacher aides, reception and administration staff, and maintenance personnel. We work together to provide a school environment that is attractive and learner centred.

As a staff, we wish to promote excellence; excellence of effort as well as excellence of achievement.

Our staff vision is 'Live the Gospel, Educate the Children'.

Student Welfare Worker

The school Student Welfare Worker is available for three days each week to support students and parents who are experiencing grief or loss, relationship difficulties, behaviour issues or other personal stresses. Participation in the service is voluntary and parents can withdraw their child from the service at any time. This support is provided with the financial assistance of the Australian Government through the National Chaplaincy and Student Welfare Program. Student Welfare Worker support is provided for students in conjunction with teacher and wider school support.‚Äč
